Do not confuse it with Modafinil。
Adrafinil is classified as a nonspecific stimulant and banned by WADA under section 6 of the 2014 banned substances list.
Due to its antisleep effects, it should not be taken at any time aside from immediately in the morning if proper sleep is desired.
How to Take It
The standard dosage for adrafinil is reported to be 600-1,200mg, which for the purpose of treating narcolepsy was either 600mg twice daily (morning and midday) or 600-900mg taken once daily upon waking.
Adrafinil is no longer used for this purpose due to modafinil being a more suitable pharmaceutical, and these doses reflect the recommendations for the prescription drug Olmifon when it was available.
Adrafinil should not be taken in the afternoon and evening since supplementation would impair sleep. Adrafinil tends to be taken three times a week, for no longer than five months.
