What Does Hyaluronic Acid Have to Do With Osteoporosis?
- Jul 09, 2019 -

According to a new research, hyaluronic acid may help prevent bone loss.

At present, about 200 million women worldwide suffer from osteoporosis, and nearly 20% of men over the age of 50 suffer from osteoporosis. Osteoporosis has become an increasingly serious health problem worldwide.

What is osteoporosis?

Osteoporosis is a systemic skeletal disease characterized by reduced bone mass, altered bone histological structure, decreased bone strength, increased bone fragility and prone to fracture.

Osteoporotic bones are honeycombed under a microscope and have larger pores than healthy bones. The more sieve holes, the more fragile the bones are and the more likely they are to fracture. Simply put, your bones are not as strong as they were when you were younger, and they become fragile.

What does Hyaluronic acid to do with Osteoporosis

Bad living habits, excessive or little exercise, disease and so on will accelerate bone loss. Low calcium diet, insufficient sunshine and so on will limit calcium absorption. All these make the bone unbalanced, and ultimately accelerate the loss of bone, leading to the occurrence of osteoporosis.

1. Keep healthy living habits.

No smoking, no excessive drinking. Adhere to proper outdoor exercise every day. Get enough of sunshine.

2. Regular inspection and active prevention.

Bone mineral density should be examined once a year. Avoid bending down to carry heavy objects.

3. Balanced diet. Eat food rich in calcium, protein and vitamin D3.

4. Try new science discovery. Hyaluronic acid has achieved convincing results in animal experiments and may help humans prevent osteoporosis in the near future.
