Glucosinolates include sinigrin and glucobrassicin. According to some studies, increased long-term intake of sinigrin is related to decreased formation of AGEs (Advanced Glycation End-Products). They will be formed naturally in your body. Too much AGEs is linked to increased oxidative stress. Chronic oxidative stress can increase the risk of many age-related disease and most cancers. It seems like sinigrin can interfere the formation of AGEs.

Glucobrassicin is a glucosinolate precursor of I3C. I3C can lower the risk of many types of cancer. I3C can be supplemented by indole 3 carbinol powder. Indole 3 carbinol powder is a nutraceutical product that can provide extra I3C for the people who don’t like vegetables.
